2017 KTM Duke 200 – UBI Report
New KTM Duke 200 has been launched in India. It doesn’t get many changes from the outgoing model, except for new colours and update to BS-IV compliance.
The sub-500cc KTM Dukes will get a completely different design language in 2017, inspired from the brand’s flagship Super Duke R. This has been confirmed with recent spy shots of the Duke 390 and the Duke 125.
Update: Now revealed
The upcoming Duke 200 will look sharper than ever, with beautifully sculptured headlamps, chiseled out tank cowl and rear fairing.
New images reveal that the KTM duke 200 may lose out on some features like rectangular LCD display with smartphone integration, handle mounted navigation button and possibly ride-by-wire.
Another interesting addition is the separate function forks- One side handling damping other side handling rebound. This keeps the bike sharp as well as comfortable (availability in Duke 200 not confirmed yet).
The bike is expected to be officially unveiled at the time of EICMA 2016. Launch is expected in 2017.
