The 2016 KTM RC 390 has been updated with a host of new features. The bike is expected to reach India by March 2016.

Latest Industry buzz: The 2016 version of the popular KTM RC 390, which was unveiled at the EICMA last year, is expected to be launched this year. The bike comes with some improved features, and may demand a slight premium.

The KTM RC 390 is already a feature packed machine, equipped with goodies like ABS, USD forks, 300mm disc brakes,all digital instrument console and much more. The 2016 variant will take this a notch up by providing added features like bigger 320mm front disc brakes, slipper clutch, disconnectable ABS and a ride-by-wire system for effortless power delivery. The bike has been made more comfortable by adding a 12mm thicker seat cushion.

The Europe spec variant will get an all new side mounted exhaust, to comply with stricter Euro 4 emission norms. This will not be made available in India.

UBI Report and review:

The KTM RC 390 is one of the most powerful and value for money sportsbike currently available under the 5 lakh price tag. The bike is feature rich, offer loads of performance and being locally produced, is priced aggressively near 2 lakh INR. The 2016 variant of the bike, will be adding on to this some more exiting features with a (expected )marginal increase in price.

Mechanically, the 373.2cc single pot mill will remain- producing maximum of 43 bhp of power.

KTM will also update their complete range of motorcycles with Auto headlamps in 2016.
