Aprilia Tuono 125 UBI report

2017 Tuono 125

The new Aprilia Touno 125 has been unveiled at the INTERMOT show, Cologne. The bike is provided with impressive design and lots of features.

Since we already have a 125cc Aprilia 2-wheeler in India, there have been lots of queries whether this one will also come to the country. But unfortunately the answer is no.

The Aprilia RS and Touno 125cc caters mostly to a niche, restricted license segment in Europe. Unlike the SR 150, the 125 RS is priced above 3 lakh Rupees there.  So unless there is a sudden increase in demand for ultra-premium 125cc motorcycles, don’t expect the bike to reach India.

Even if a less than 1 lakh price tag is possible, do you think a premium manufacturer like Aprilia will launch their motorcycle in that space?
